Avatar is a science fiction movie that takes place exclusively on the alien planet of Pandora. Humans are trying to extract valuable resources from the planet and have created remotely controlled "avatars", biologically engineered alien bodies that match that of the planet's native people. When the human's methods of pursuing the planet's resources becomes less-than-ethical, the protagonist must choose whether to help his own species or the victimized Na'vi.
